Well it was a week of firsts last week with the first female Australian Prime Minister in Julia Gillard, the first anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson and my daughter getting her first interview for a part-time job and then getting her first job – whoo hoo!!
Here’s a ‘thriller’ and one wedding dance these guests won’t forget.
This is my first Monday ESCape post on this site in which I like to post something funand on the light side to start off the week. I used to publish them on my previous blog which I have now decided to close as I was finding it hard to manage both (and the other no longer allowed me to embed video).
So here is a great TED Talk video that was passed on to me via another ning and which I also put on the VicPLN Ning. It does go for 20minutes but it’s also one which you’ll enjoy listening and watching to the end. Classical conductor Benjamin Zander talks about his passion for classical music and “helping us all realize our untapped love for it — and by extension, our untapped love for all new possibilities, new experiences, new connections.” Just what I (and perhaps others) are trying to achieve through involvement in this program.
